Rolex Guarantee

To ensure the precision and reliability of its timepieces, Rolex submits each watch after assembly to a stringent series of tests. All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retailers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.

The green seal

The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.

Rolex presentation box

Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

Bidirectional Rotatable Bezel

The Yacht-Master’s bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel is made entirely from precious metal – Everose gold or platinum – or fitted with a Cerachrom insert in high-tech ceramic, depending on the model. The raised polished numerals and graduations stand out clearly against a matt, sand-blasted background. This functional bezel – which allows the wearer to calculate, for example, the sailing time between two buoys – is also a key component in the model’s distinctive visual identity

Slate Dial

Like all Rolex Professional watches, the Yacht-Master 40 offers exceptional legibility in all circumstances, and especially in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display. The broad hands and hour markers in simple shapes – triangles, circles, rectangles – are filled with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting glow.

Rolesium

Many Rolex watches are available with the now-legendary combination of yellow, white or Everose gold and steel known as Rolesor, but Rolesium is a creation specific to the Yacht-Master. While the case and bracelet are in rugged Oystersteel, the bezel of the Rolesium versions is made of platinum, imparting a silvery whiteness and vibrant luminosity for an unmistakable sense of luxury.

Model availability

All Rolex watches are assembled by hand with extreme care to meet the brand's high quality standards. Such a level of requirement naturally restricts Rolex's production capacities.
This is why the availability of certain Rolex models may be limited. New Rolex watches are available exclusively from official retailers, who are regularly stocked and independently manage the allocation of watches to customers.
